so as you can tell music tuesday has quickly become music (every other) tuesday. which is fine with me. i guess i'll move into this blog thing slowly.
as you may be able to guess i am silly. I LOVE silly things. A friend of mine once said, I'm gonna find the next guy you're into and just tell him you love silly things and you'll be together forever, or something to that effect.
This week's song is just that. Silly to the point of ridiculous. It makes me laugh and it includes a pop element that encourages me to listen to it again and again, despite the fact that it's sort of retarded and childish. It's a mash-up with a song from Lazy Town (sort of reminds you of one hit wonder band Crazy Town huh) a kid's show, and Lil John (owner of CRUNK JUICE!!!) who will always crack me up or disgust me. it's a toss up. Either way i think this video being a hit represents a wonderful wild creativity born from the endless freedom that is inherent to the internet. we should almost be proud our society has built up such a network of resources and ideas that could produce this modern piece of media. props to Mastgrr
